Yuvajana Sakhyam

Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam was founded in 1933 with the vision that the young people in the Church should accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, and bear witness to His saving power. Branches of the Sakhyam were set up in the Parishes with a four-fold program: WORSHIP, STUDY, WITNESS AND SERVICE to achieve this objective.

Objectives

1. To enable the youth of the Mar Thoma Church to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord, God and Saviour.

2. To help the youth of the church to grow in to the totality of Christ.

3. To train the youth of the Church in the worship and fellowship of Christian life.

4. To have participation of the youth in the mission of the Church.

5. To instill love and faith towards the Church and Christian values and to help the over all growth of the Church.

6. To organize and conduct training camps, meetings, discussions, and classes to improve the knowledge of the youth in the Holy Bible, church's faith and practice, Ecumenism and in current social affairs.

7. To establish Sakhyam Sakhas in all Parishes to fulfill the above objectives.

8. To equip the youth in worship, study, witness and service to fulfill the above objectives.

St. Thomas Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam, Ras Al Khaimah

St. Thoams Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam, Ras Al Khaimah(MTYS RAK) is an organization which is affiliated to the Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam office in India. It is registered with the UAE centre Yuvajana sakhyam and is an active participant of the center activities. MTYS RAK is a group of all young at heart.

Every Friday after church service youths gather in the parsonage, either under the leadership of president or the vice president of MTYS RAK to sing hymns, learn and discuss from the word of God. Apart from Praise & worship, bible study, bible quiz, group discussion and debate. Following are the other activities for the year 2015-2016:
