As a Vicar of St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church, Ras Al Khaimah, I am humbled to share a word of
encouragement with you, dear believers. In a world filled with uncertainty and challenges, it's easy to
feel overwhelmed and lose sight of God's presence in our lives. Yet, as we journey through the ups and
downs of life, we are reminded that God's care and love are always with us.
God's Love and Care
As I reflect on the goodness of God, I am reminded of the profound love He has for each and every one
of us. In a world filled with uncertainty and challenges, it's easy to lose sight of God's presence and plan.
Yet, as believers, we know that we are not alone. We are loved, we are cherished, and we are
empowered by a God who desires to see us thrive.The Bible tells us that "God is love" (1 John 4:8). This
love is not just a feeling or an emotion; it's a fundamental aspect of God's nature. It's a love that
motivates Him to work in our lives, to guide us, to protect us, and to empower us to become all that He
has called us to be.
Experiencing God's Love and Care
As we walk in God's love, we begin to experience a sense of proficiency in our lives. We learn to trust
Him, to obey Him, and to rely on His strength and wisdom. We discover that His love is not just a feeling,
but a powerful force that enables us to overcome challenges, to persevere through difficulties, and to
achieve our goals.
God's Care and Love in Uncertainty
We are all realizing, more than ever, God's care and love in the midst of uncertainty. As we face
challenges and difficulties, we are reminded that God is our Rock, our Refuge, and our Savior. Psalm
46:1-2 says, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear,
though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea."
Ways to Experience God's Care and Love
Through prayer: Prayer is a powerful way to connect with God, to share our fears and doubts, and to
receive His comfort and guidance.
Through Scripture: The Bible is a treasure trove of God's promises, reminding us of His love,
faithfulness, and care for us.
Through community: The church community is a vital source of support and encouragement, providing
us with a sense of belonging and connection with others.
Responding to God's Care and Love
As we experience God's care and love, we can respond in many ways:
Trust in God's goodness: We can trust that God is working everything out for our good, even when we
don't understand the circumstances (Romans 8:28).
Obey God's Word: We can obey God's Word, demonstrating our love for Him and our desire to follow
His plan for our lives (John 14:15).
Share God's love with others: We can share God's love with others, inspiring them to trust in His
goodness and care (Matthew 5:16).
