About us

Choir is a musical ensemble of singers.

Singing helps us to remember God’s mighty deeds and gives us a foretaste of heaven.

Our parish is blessed with a dedicated choir. Our church choir plays a vital role in our worship services. Our church is gifted with talented and dedicated singers and musicians who lead us in praise and worship. Even with their busy schedules, they strive to find consistent time for rehearsals to make the worship services more attractive. Special thanks to choir members

The Church Choir has an indispensable role in Church Worship. The choir has a variety of responsibilities. Their primary role is to support and enhance the congregation in singing worship songs. It can provide the whole assembly with a means truly to encounter God in its worship. We also participate in the christmas carols and spread the message about the joy of the birth of Jesus. We also have special rehearsals and choirs during other occasions in the church .

Our choir is registered with the DSMC. The choir members were selected through audition. At present, the choir has 35 members. Weekly choir practices are held every Thursday 7:30 – 9: 30 pm at church. Practice for the Christmas Carol Service will commence in September this year.

Activities

Our Choir participates in various programs during the year including the Sacred Music Day held in Dubai Mar Thoma Church

The choir elects their own office bearers every year and functions under the supervision of the vicar.

We thank the almighty God for his abundant mercy we received all these years and pray for his mighty guidance in the years to come.
